Its common sense as to why  someone  would not want to move from Sunny San Diego to Gloomy Windy city  Chicago.  I am not saying Chicago is a bad place to live as I have an uncle who lives there, but I can understand Peavy for turning down the trade.

exactly Dan, good point and yes those no trade clause does a strong hold for the player.
