OK.

Every year, the football magazine come out, the predictions from everyone and their moms are all over the place, and all the experts make their confident picks.

I just bought Phil Steele's College Football Preview magazine, and one or more.

Let's post all the magazine predictions here (and discuss them, of course) and revisit this thread throughout the year and most definitely at the end of the season to see which predictions came true.

Phil Steele's magazine has been considered to be "the most accurate preseason magazine the last 10 years".

I'll start...

Phil Steele predicts the BCS national title to be between Texas and Florida.

Thoughts?

UF and Texas are the two best teams heading into college football in the fall and its no surprise that magazines are  picking them in the national championship game.

I think both Florida and Texas will hold their own if that game were to take place. However I would have to go with UF winning it because of the Tebow advantage.

yeah, exactly... and texas tech was a total fluke last year anyway... they had a lucky play with the crabtree catch(perfect throw but 2 texas guys missed him)... and they almost lost to some crappy team at the end of the year... forget the team name, but i remember watching it... then i was disappointed, lol... but college football is amazing... its better than the NFL

Yes college football is amazing as anything can happen dispite the BCS is still excitting to see no teams upset big colleges like Mich losing a couple of years ago to App State.
