Donte Stallworth was suspended without pay for the season.

Yeah the commish did do the right thing.

I truly believe that Donte is truly sorry,but you have to punished for doing this sort of thing.

He is a great player,but a punishment is a punishment.

I'm not surprised one bit that he is suspended without pay for the entire 2009 NFL Season.

Rodger Goodell did the right thing by taken action on Stallworth, it could be worse for him as he could have been serving a long time in jail.

im glad the NFL can tell the difference between killing a person and killing some dogs, much unlike the legal system.

Stallworth - Kill a person, no real jail time to speak of, year suspension from NFL
Vick - Kill some dogs, spend a good amount of time in jail, 4 game suspension from NFL

Kind of sad when you think about it.

I don't understand how Stallworth doesnt get serious jailtime. A guy came to our school once with Toastmasters to talk about his jailtime from a DWI wreck that killed someone. He was serving life I believe.
