Charlie Strong New Louisville Head Coach



The Urban Meyer coaching tree has sprouted another branch.
Defensive coordinator Charlie Strong on Wednesday became the seventh Meyer assistant to become a head coach when he was introduced as the new head man at Louisville.
Strong will remain on Meyer’s staff through the Jan. 1 Sugar Bowl.
“I don’t want to leave the university a coach short,” Strong said.
Strong said he has no immediate plans to take any members of the UF staff with him to Louisville.

well for one they both are in the same conference, in the big east and for two because USF could have hired him and gotten rid of Jim Levitt, as much of the USF fan base wants him out now

yes, when I said most every USF fan, I really meant about 60% of their fan base.
