Ingram Wins 2009 Heisman

Mark Ingram has won the 2009 Heisman Trophy, he is also the first player ever from the University of Alabama to win the Heisman Trophy.

Well, I was glad for Mark to win it cause he is such a great player to watch, but I really thought Toby Gerhart would win it though.

I was surprised, but you have to be happy for the University Of Alabama even if I am a Gator Fan. Smiley

The one good thing that came out of it was that Tebow finished fifth in the voting.

I've been less and less impressed with this award in recent years.

Well, Tebow didn't have that great of a year this season, but he is still one of the best to ever play the game I think.

Tebow dropped off this season because Harvin made him look great as far as the passing game went last year.

Yeah Harvin was a big missing factor this year. I was sad to see him go. Sad

However Tebow still looked better in his sophmore season than any other season with the Gators I believe.

Tebow's approaching the NFL Draft in the right way. Said he wants to play QB but he'll work out at any position that his future team wants him to.

interesting, I know my Jags will be drafting him in the first round no matter what. Mark Ingram deserved this award, pretty incredible now knowing that he is the first Heisman winner out of the University of Alabama.
