Jason Bay has been in serious talks with the Mets about signing with them after he turned down the Red Sox Extension Contract. Jason Bay is now a free agent after saying no to the Red Sox Extension Offer.

Jason Bay was basically a  bust for the Redsoxs as he did not live up to expectations.
