Chicago Bears Defensive End and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers  Gaines Adams has died in his hometown of Greenwood, South Carolina today from an apparent Heart Attack. He was 26 years old and he was drafted in the second round of the NFL draft in 2007.

I just saw this on one of the Clemson sites.

It's so sad.

It seems as if he just left Clemson.

It seems as though I just saw him make that phenomenal play against Wake Forest that turned things around for Clemson in that game.

It's just a reminder how fragile life really is.

May he rest in peace.
