A sad Tiger Woods spoke today with regret and resentment. Tiger has always been one of favorite golfers and he will still be in that category. He has once again given me hope that one day he will be back in the golf world and that he is new man.

I do not think so, even though the masters is two months away. If anything he will be playing in the Players championship.

I do think he regrets it.  A lot of fans will be glad to see him return.

Here's my opinion:

1) Yes, I agree that he owes an apology to his family;

2) Yes, I do think he owes his fellow golfers an apology;

3) Yes, I do feel he owes his fans an apology as well. I think you assume, willingly or unwillingly, that unwritten responsibility when you are in his position, so I unlike Charles Barkley in one of his classic commercials, I do think you're a role model to some when you become that public figure. Unfortunately, some kids will follow the examples they see from public figures;

4) Yes, I feel he was sincere. With that said, I have absolutely no idea whether he'll be "saint" from now on. I don't know what to think as I really don't think we can tell from his statements today; I think we'll just have to wait;

5) No, I don't think he should be blame for OUR assumption that he is this perfect person. I think that OUR fault as fans for thinking that way. I certainly didn't think he was with just the way he acted on the golf course.

very true, his personal life issues should be a separate from his professional career.

So you don't think that people in the public eye have a certain responsibility?

To lesser degree, you don't think military members have some type of responsibility to the public?

How about you as a member of society or even just in your neighborhood?

I know I feel that I have certain responsibilities to behave a certain way as a member of society and part of my own neighborhood.

He owes an apology to Elin and his family. Yeah he apologized to us many times already in his speech yesterday,but we're not Elin and she is the one he will have to apologize to with his behavior overtime,like he said

he didnt hurt us in anyway... i would just say he let us down... most were thinking of tiger what he wasnt cuz they dont know him personally... sure, he does have some type of responsibility to act a certain way, but he doesnt need to apologize to us other than for just maybe letting us down for his behavior
