wow did not expect this, however LT is getting over the hill in NFL age wise. SAN DIEGO — LaDainian Tomlinson has been released by the San Diego Chargers, ending a brilliant nine-year run in which he became one of the NFL's greatest running backs.
The move has been expected since the end of the season. Tomlinson had 730 yards on 223 carries for an average of 3.3 yards per carry, all career lows.
Tomlinson was due a $2 million bonus in early March. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/feb/22/chargers-release-tomlinson-in-salary-cap-move/

It's always sad to see a great player like LT who also represented himself well end his career like this.
I'm hoping he'll be able to end his career the way he wants to end it.

I think a team will pick him up.

lt is still a talent at rb... a team will definitely want him... hes just not his old self, probably the chargers passing a lot may have hindered him some last year, but i expect him to bounce back

A really good move on the Chargers part. LT is not the same LT as in years past.
