Burnley, Hull City, and Portsmouth have been demoted to the championship league which is the level below the EPL due to finishing in the bottom 3 of the league and Newcastle and West Bromwich have been promoted to the EPL by finishing in the top 2 in the championship league and the final 3rd team has yet to be determined by a playoff between the 3rd through 6th place teams in the championship league
