The 49-year wait is over, and the Blackhawks are kings of the NHL once again, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 in overtime in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.

its a sad day in philadelphia, but the blackhawks were the better team... phillys never give up style of play kept it close but the power of the blackhawks was just too much... it burned to see those guys celebrating on OUR ice, but they deserved it... cheap goal i might add but oh well... lets get it next year flyers!!"

I am glad that Chicago won, but I always think it's better when the team wins on home ice. It was such a subdued celebration because of being an away game. I miss the days before the lockout, when Tampa Bay was a playoff team.  Cool

same here man and the Lighting got screwed as they had to wait a full year before celebrating the rising of the championship banner.
