The University of Nebraska has joined the Big 10 Conference effective on July 1, 2011.

Mizzou might be leaving as well. Wonder how this is going to effect the landscape of the league, with scheduling, bowl games, etc.

The Big Ten will probably be going to divisions since 12 teams will be in the conference next year.  Texas A&M is reporting going to either the SEC or Pac Ten.  Big 12 will be history IMO.

yeah... although i think we can all be honest and say that Texas A&M is nowhere near towards the level of Texas.

this is crazy... im kinda liking it though... sucks to see nebraska leave their great history behind in the big 12, but they needed to make this move... imagine texas playing teams like usc, cal, stanford, oregon, oregon state, ucla along with playing their long time rivals... this will be sweet

yeah its going to be very interesting too see what happens, and if Texas does in deed go into the Pac 10 its going to be strange.
