Now that we are midway through this season of Major League Baseball, it's time for some playoff predictions.

American Leauge

AL EAST

AL CENTRAL

AL WEST

AL WILD CARD

NATIONAL LEAGUE

NL EAST

NL CENTRAL

NL WEST

NL WILD CARD

WORLD SERIES

 VS

WORLD CHAMPIONS

If it hasn't been made obvious from reading some of my material, I am heavily biased in favor of teams from Tampa Bay. However, in this case, I do not feel that my bias take anything away from these rankings. Until recently, the Rays had the best record in the league. Furthermore, they have one of the league's top pitchers.

Given the unpredictability of such a long season, and such a tough division, I am excited to see how this all pans out. Look out for Boston, as well. If three teams from one division could make the playoffs, it would be teams from the AL East, no doubt.

Stay classy.

im sticking with what i thought it would be from the very beginning of the year... any one of these 8 teams could win the world series... it all depends on who gets hot at the end of the year... if cliff lee and the rangers pitching can get hot theyre a shoo-in for the world series, if the yankees can keep from looking old and compile some runs and shut teams down with at times shaky pitching theyre in, if the twins can get roy oswalt to be the ace of an already outstanding pitching squad they can go all the way with mauer, morneau, cuddyer, kubel, etc in their lineup, if the rays offense can get hot they could go to the world series, we already know what kind of pitching they have, but i dont think they could win it just because theyre too young... now for the nl, if the braves keep up their play theyre in the world series for sure, the cardinals still have to get past a resurgent reds team to even make the playoffs but i dont think the reds can hold onto it with the lack of experience at starting pitching but the cardinals need their big bats in pujols and holliday to come through for them or theyre toast, now to the nl west which is a crapshoot, i think the dodgers can pull through because of their experience and their very good lineup, theyll have to hold off a padres squad which is all pitching and 1 hitter, a rockies squad which always comes on really hot at the end of the year and will be getting tulowitzki back really soon, and a giants squad who has surprised some people along with the padres this year, and now the phillies, theyve been hit with the injury bug hard this year, rollins is finally back, polanco will be back really soon, utley will be back in september just in time for them to make a run in the wild card or even the division, but the braves might just be a bit too strong for them to win the division... bottomline, the twins get through the AL with outstanding pitching and good hitting and the phillies get hot as they always do at the end and get good enough pitching for their explosive offense to win the NL... the twins pitching baffles phillies bats and even roy halladay cant save them there... (this could all change by the trade deadline)

I would like to see the Rangers win the AL West although I think the Angels will win it.
